Inter-Ministry Africa is a Seventh day Adventist youth-led movement that seeks to organise and coordinate evangelistic seminars and mission work in Africa.
This is done through organizing conferences and providing a platform for missionaries to Network. Our vision is to ensure that the message of the Seventh day Adventist church is delivered throughout all of Africa and to coordinate the planting of Seventh-day Adventist churches and equip missionaries to be effective evangelists in un-entered areas in Africa.
The movement, though relatively at its founding stages; is made up of young people from all over Africa, namely, Ghana, Kenya. Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa and Zambia. These young people are leaders of ministries in their respective countries who have come together to form Inter-Ministry Africa.
The ministry was established in 2022 through the efforts of the aforementioned ministries coming together for a greater vision. Since establishment, we have sought to be relevant and impactful in Africa through the gospel. Using Christ's method, we have identified the needs in the areas we are working in and sought to address them collectively.
OUR PARTNERS
Inter-Ministry Africa is made up of a number of ministries throughout all of Africa. With love for souls, and a zeal for God, these young people have come together to collaborate and work together with the same vision in mind. “For we are both God’s workers”.
Project Djibouti came about as a result of the realization that the message of the Seventh Day Adventist church has not reached in the horn of Africa, that is, in the northern and the eastern part of Africa. Most of these countries are Islam dominated and some have close to zero Adventist presence. Our long-term view is to train and equip missionaries to go into some of these countries together with bible workers to preach the Three Angels Message. We seek to do this with the support of the conference and all the relevant church structures.
We have identified Djibouti as a country we would like to focus on based on the information and statistics available. The country has a population of less than a million people. It is predominantly an Islamic country with over 96% of the citizens identifying as Muslims and 6% as Christians. According to statistics provided by the church, Djibouti is identified as one of the countries with no Adventist presence (https://record.adventistchurch.com/).
